"Heal the World" (Sana el mundo) fue el sexto tema sencillo extraído del álbum”Dangerous” de Michael Jackson, publicado en octubre de 1991. Es considerado como una de las mejores canciones del artista, y junto a otras como “Cry”, The Earth song” y “We are the world”, representan la creatividad de Jackson referida a la convivencia humana y al cuidado de nuestro planeta.
Michael Jackson relató que escribió esta composición en su Rancho Neverland. Y esta fue una de las más exitosas canciones de su carrera. Inspirado en el título, estableció “Heal the World Foundation”, una institución de ayuda benéfica para los niños sin hogar.
